Everyone knows that each person has his price. It is the basis of
our free-market economy. There is a certain stack of $100 dollar
bills that will convince anyone to do anything.
As our congress has become more free-market and respective of
the free-flow of cash and ideas, they have naturally moved to a more
efficient way of doing things. For example:
There are over 6 lobbyists from the medical industry for each
legislator now. That insures that this vibrant part of our economy
(1/6th!) stays healthy and profitable. Because there is no value on
a human life, there is no solid way of setting healthcare prices.
With the use of direct financial incentives, our law-makers can give
the industry the freedom to figure out what your life is worth for
themselves! Now that's free-market economics at work.
It's given the best people in our country access to medical care.
And so, to save money and
encourage competition, let's stop paying the very small token
congressional salary (a small fraction of their actual income) and
go to a full commission-basis. This gives every industry a level
playing field to get their desires met by our legislators.
Separation of industry and congress has to be stopped. Once we can
meld these two, we can add our tax-free religious leaders as the
third leg on this magical stool which makes our wonderful
economy smell so good. Just imagine, we could change our country's name to The
Unicom-Americorp Church.
Let's just formalize what our
ingenious congress has already proven to be the best way to do
things. If you want your ideas heard on capital hill, get a second
mortgage!
